Thanksgiving Day at Dana Point is packed with fun, food, festivities, and more food! All of the events happening at Dana Point on Thanksgiving Day are outlined below so you can schedule in as many Thanksgiving dinners as possible!
Thanksgiving day begins bright and early at 6:00 a.m. with the Dana Point Turkey Trot! Be part of the fun as the Dana Point Turkey Trot celebrates its 39th year! Tour the beautiful beach, majestic cliffs, and coves of Dana Point; enjoy pounding surf, rugged cliffs, and cool ocean breezes as you sail through the Dana Point Marina, on to Doheny State Park, and past the Historic Tallship Pilgrim moored in Dana Point Harbor.
The 6th largest Turkey Trot in the country, the Dana Point Turkey Trot has become an Orange County tradition, attracting more than 16,000 participants in its 5K, 10K, Kids’ Gobble Wobble, and two-day health and wellness expo. From beginners to elite runners, this event is for everyone!

Thanksgiving at Monarch Beach Resort
Monarch Beach Resort’s Aveo Table + Bar is hosting a delectable Thanksgiving Brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The brunch menu features special seasonal items, classic breakfast dishes, decadent desserts, and traditional Thanksgiving favorites such as roasted organic turkey and Honey Baked Virginia Ham.

Stonehill Tavern at Monarch Beach Resort presents a Chef’s Thanksgiving Feast from 2:00-7:00 p.m. An exquisite four-course menu – beginning with an appetizing salad and ending with a classic holiday pie selection – will surpass your expectations.

Thanksgiving at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel
At the Thanks-For-Giving Buffet, you are invited to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to be donated to Orange County Rescue Mission. Seating is from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Adults: $115, Children: $57.50
Raya Thanksgiving features a three-course holiday menu from 3:00-9:00 p.m. A limited a la carte menu is also available.
Adults: $110, Children: $55
enoSTEAK Thanksgiving includes the full enoSTEAK menu as well as a special Thanksgiving menu served from 5:00-10:00 p.m.
Thanksgiving at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa
The Thanksgiving Day Buffet at Vue Restaurant is much more than food – it’s a fun-filled day of entertainment starting with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, followed by the Cowboys vs. Redskins at 1:30 p.m., and the Steelers vs. Colts at 5:30 p.m. in OverVue Lounge! Children are also invited to a movie night at 7:00 p.m.
In addition to exquisite salads, soup, desserts and other specialty items, the Thanksgiving Champagne Buffet menu includes traditional dishes such as Roasted Tom Turkey with Pan Gravy and Slow Roasted Prime Rib of Beef with Au Jus.
